MC Draws First Blood in Black Temple

This week we saw our First Kill of High Warlord Naj'entus in Black Temple. Unfortunately, we were all so excited that we neglected to get screen shots of the kill. We went on to sample the trashy goodness of the Illidari Training Grounds on our way to Supreamus. We have a thing or two to learn about dodging volcanoes, but much fun and wipage was had.

After about 6 pulls we got repops and decided to head over for a quick easy one shot of Rage Winterchill in Mount Hyjal. Lots of goodies all around, some epic gems, some patterns, Healing boots for Apo, Shoulders for Jahneel, Bracers for Karsia, a nice blade for Eloradanan and the lovely Hammer of Judgement for Beras...

All in all a pretty good week.

Progression Happens!

We have been kinda lack on news lately, but I thought we'd post some bits about the great happenings in the world of ...

Midnight Cartel Progression Raiding

oh, by the way... we have lots of interesting WWS (meters) reports posted here: Bookmark Me!. This is the portal for all the MC wow web stats reports that we have the prescience to post combat logs for. If you are a progression raider and wish to participate in this, please see this thread.

Zul'Aman
We have 2 to 3 groups running ZA weekly now. We've started to progress very well in there, and this week hit a milestone of getting THREE chests in the timed event! The MC ZA groups typically get two chests, and now with three under our belt, perhaps the elusive bear mount is not far from our grasp...
We've knocked around Malacrass a bit, and will soon have ZA cleared.


Tempest Keep
The week also saw a Midnight Cartel guild first kill of Hi Astromancer Solarian

Was a great run, and now with Voidreaver on farm status, we are 2/4 in TK.


Mount Hyjal
Midnight Cartel is now venturing into the realms of T6 in both Mount Hyjal and the Black Temple. Achieving a wondrous guild first kill of Rage Winterchill

the Progression Core went on to some extremely wonderful attempts at Anetheron. We will soon be 2/6 in the Battle for Mount Hijal


Black Temple
MC has ventured into the Black Temple as well, with some impressive first attempts at boss #1 High Warlord Naj'entus


I believe very soon Midnight Cartel will be considered a Tier Six raiding guild in full swing. The amazing efforts of the guild Crafters, as well as the Badge of Justice farmers now clearing Karazhan in under 3 hours with regularity, have brought us to this fantastic point in our journey together through the realms of the World Of Warcraft.

Always fighting the elitist mentality, recovering from adversity, and maintaining the moral integrity, Midnight Cartel remains a Vanguard guild on the Elune Realm in both progression and culture.

Midnight Cartel Raiding Needs YOU!

Midnight Cartel is in open recruitment for our "Progression Core" Raiding group. One of the oldest casual guilds on Elune, we are rebuilding our progression oriented raid group and are looking for some mature and motivated new friends!

We are a casual guild with a semi-hardcore raiding group looking for all classes and specs, but especially
* Healers
* Warlocks

While you do not have to be guilded with us to participate, we welcome all applicants to fill one out on our website:

Casual applicants are welcome to apply, but for the Raid group, we are looking for Kara/Badge/PVP geared mains and alts.

Of our core raid spots, we have room for everything but hunters at the moment. Our progression core raid group has rotational spots, and only requires a 50% attendance. Raid times are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8 pm, in SSC, Mag's and Gruul's Lairs, with shorter raids on other days as we become more progressed. We also offer six (!) kara-clearing teams and a progression style ZA group. We are also looking for talented Class Leaders.

Looting is determined via loot council with opportunities for every raider to participate.

We offer a relaxed and friendly, yet professional style of raid. Midnight Cartel has been together and raiding since back in the Molten Core days, has a lot of incredibly talented players. But we do need a few more to bolster the ranks.

If you are the kind of person that values raiding for the fun and challenge, and takes pride in buffing all your gear to the best that you can, with full consumables, then you might just find what you're looking for with Midnight Cartel.

The Cartel Back in Action!

We have been slowly rebuilding the 25 man raid program to great success. It seems that now when we first go in somewhere we take new bosses down! We recently had a guild first kill of Magtheridon, and this week re-entered Serpent Shrine Cavern with the new raid group.



Last night we had a guild first kill of The Lurker Below. This was a two night process, and we were slowed only by the "newness" of raiding for some of our members, and that the raids were pretty much last minute affairs. We'll be downing a lot more content very soon, I believe. Thank you to our wonderful guests, Lilyrose, and Bailor.

Congrats to Tyrannar on her new wrists, the Grove-Bands of Remulos
Yasmara won the The Seal of Danzalar
and to Graback went the Tempest-Strider Boots
Dk and Chryslliss both had nice trash drops of Pendant of the Perilous
And Jahneel pick pocketed the Serpentshrine Shuriken

Later in the evening, a group of Cartelians followed up their first ever guild Timed Event kill of Nalorakk (the bear boss) in Zul'Aman with a one shot of Bear, Akil'zon (Eagle), and a guild first of Halazzi (the Lynx). Way to go folks!
Grats Rius on a nice Cloak of Fiends from the timed event, and Grats to Lurimott (pending a game master fix) on Formula: Enchant Weapon - Executioner, to Takuyanoku on his new chest Shimmer-pelt Vest, to Jacon for the Mojo-mender's Mask, to Starfollowre on the Brooch of Nature's Mercy.
